Books
Each of Elizabeth’s books explores her life-stage and the life passages of her boomer generation: Sisters; The Men In Our Lives; I Swore I’d Never Do That (winner of the Parents’ Choice award); Reunion: The Girls We Used To Be, The Women We Became; and Getting To 30: A Parent’s Guide to the 20-Something Years (originally published in hardcover as When Will My Grown-Up Kid Grow Up?) (co-written with Jeffrey Arnett). Elizabeth also co-edited (with Terri Hinte) Wednesday Writers and Something That Matters, two collections of personal essays by writers in her Wednesday Writers’ groups. All the proceeds from the anthologies are donated to two San Francisco Bay Area breast care centers, one at University of California at San Francisco and one at Alta Bates/Summit in Oakland.
